The Summer Party held on Sunday 15th August 2021 was the first public gathering of the BHA for well over a year.
More than 80 residents and their families took advantage of the event to enjoy the afternoon. Pimms and Prosecco, as well as soft drinks, were on offer but it was the Pimms which was the big hit of the day. The fine weather provided an ideal opportunity for guests to meet up with old friends. And whilst doing so they were entertained by mediæval wandering minstrels Edwin Pritchard and Caroline Butler who played a selection of half a dozen different 17th century instruments and featuring music made popular by the original “Oxford Waits”.
A survey carried out after the event revealed that the music was very much appreciated.
We hope that the attached photographs by John Park may encourage even more to attend future events.
